Nicholaus A. Hancock
Mr. Hancock is an experienced and accomplished litigator that has practiced in the region for more than a decade. His clients have included Fortune 500 companies, insurance companies, corporations, and individuals from throughout the country. He has defended clients in multimillion-dollar lawsuits involving wrongful death, personal injury, medical malpractice, construction defects, transportation, premises liability, employment, and bad faith litigation. Mr. Hancock is one of the most active defense litigators in Oklahoma. He consistently tries cases to verdict as a first and second chair trial attorney. He routinely serves as a guest lecturer for local, state, and national organizations. Mr. Hancock’s success as an attorney has been recognized by Super Lawyers magazine, wherein he was selected as a Rising Star in the areas of Employment Law in 2016 and General Civil Litigation in 2017-2024.
Mr. Hancock was born in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He spent time as a child in Kansas, Colorado, and Missouri. He attended Missouri Southern State University where he earned two separate Bachelor’s Degrees in 2008. He then returned to Oklahoma and attended the University of Tulsa College of Law where he graduated in 2013, with honors.
Following law school, Mr. Hancock joined a regional defense firm. In August 2017, he joined Coffey, Senger, Harmon & Hancock. He was promoted to named partner at the firm in the fall of 2024.
